What is Sunbears?

Sunbears is an online tool for sports teams, designed to fit the needs of a wide range of organizations, from small amateur teams to club and college teams. As a web-based system for coaching, team management, and data monitoring, Sunbears offers you an efficient experience to fine-tune various areas of your team operations.

What do I need to prepare to start using it?

Because Sunbears is an online application, an internet connection and web browser are required. For smooth setup, we also recommend preparing team information such as player rosters, email addresses of any additional users, and an open mind ready to explore!

Sunbears is crafted to empower teams across American Football, Basketball, Football, Futsal, Rugby, and Ice Hockey, offering a suite of features tailored for coaches, trainers, managers, and players:

Absolutely! Sunbears is tailored not just for teams but also for individual athletes focusing on their personal development. You can create a personal account to manage your daily training routines, track your progress, and securely store your training data. Plus, if you choose to, sharing your plans and progress with a group or coach is straightforward, ensuring you have the flexibility to train individually or collaboratively. Our monthly add-on options, which you can cancel at any time, make it easy and affordable to tailor the platform to your specific training needs, supporting you at every level of your athletic journey.

To sign up, start by clicking through to our Sign Up page, on whatever device is convenient for you. Next, follow these simple steps:

1. First, we'll need 3 things to set up your account...

- Your name

- Email address

- A secure password

...then click Register.

2. Verify your account! A verification link will be sent to the email provided in Step 1. (Sometimes this link goes to the Spam folder -- if you don't see it after a few minutes, check there!) Once you've verified, it's time to log in.

3. Create a new team (ensure your team doesn't have an account already), or join an existing team.

- Making a new team: Creating a new team is as easy as adding a logo/image, inputting your team name, and choosing the relevant sport and team type.

- Joining an existing team: to join an existing team, you can enter the email address of the owner of the team, or the name of the team. Alternatively, you can ask the owner or an admin of the team to send you an invite by email.

4. You're in! If you've created a new team, you can explore what Sunbears has to offer at no cost using your new Freemium account. If you wish to use any of our premium features, visit the Store & Billing with your account to find the feature package that fits your needs.

To cancel your package, first navigate to the Store & Billing page on your account. Under "Current Plan" on the left side of the page, you can view and manage existing packages in your subscription. To cancel any package, click "Cancel," and continue to your cart using the blue cart button that appears at the top of the page. Follow through the prompts in Cart to complete the cancellation. Changes to your monthly total will be reflected on the next invoice. Once canceled, the service will continue until the end of that month’s billing period.

When a cancellation is made, the "unused time" will be credited to the next monthly invoice.

We do not offer full refunds except under the following conditions:

- If a purchase was accidentally made due to any reason within 48 hours, you can request a refund** by contacting us: [email protected]

- A system malfunction caused a problem or your account was terminated without cause.

All payments and payment information are handled by Stripe, which means we are able to accept all major debit and credit cards from customers in every country.*

*Please note that prepaid credit cards are not acceptable.

With Sunbears, all player users are free of charge! This means that no matter the size of your sports team, you only need to pay for members of your staff.

However, if you wish to give a player user an additional role (such as Staff or Recorder), this requires a user seat and will need to be purchased before assigning additional roles to that player.
